How You Can Help
Join the Access Firefox community of volunteers who selflessly give their time to help out others. All that we ask is that you share some time and help with any of the items below.
Getting the Word Out
The biggest problem that we face is in making people aware that there are good and free accessibility tools and visual aids available that will improve their Internet experience. Currently, most people with disabilities pay for software and tools to aid them in their Internet usage. Firefox offers their accessibility aids for free and people simply are not aware of this.
Marketing volunteers are needed to promote Access Firefox's mission and offerings to disability agencies and schools via e-mail. An example of an agency would be The Massachusetts Commission for the Blind. An example of a school would be The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind.
Tell a Friend
Share this site with individuals who may benefit from it.
Most of us knows of someone or who has a family member with a disability or visual impairment. Bring them to Access Firefox and show them the tools that can really making surfing the Internet more comfortable and enjoyable.

Content Contributions
Our main goal is to become a main Web portal for Firefox accessibility but we can't do it alone. If you have Firefox accessibility resources and/or knowledge that would be useful for Firefox users with disabilities, contact us, we'd love to see what you have and share it with those who will benefit from it the most.
Firefox Accessibility Add-ons
Firefox theme and extension developers, accessibility themes and extensions are a very needed and welcomed donation to the disability communities.
Developer Needed
A Firefox extension developer is needed to redevelop the Highlighter extension. The extension is extremely helpful for people with visual impairments but it needs work . Written permission has been given to modify Highlighter from the developer. The ability to bookmark highlights and add a clear highlight button is basically all that is needed.
